Terms and Conditions

These terms cover every pickup we run in Westchester County, NY and Fairfield County, CT, and your use of this site.

Effective September 10, 2026

The short version

A plain summary of the points most people are looking for. The full terms below are what actually governs your pickup.

  • Nothing is charged when you book. We save your card, hold it 24 hours before pickup, and charge after the job is done. Haul less, pay less.

  • Cancel free until 24 hours before. Inside 24 hours, one free reschedule, then a $45 late change fee. A crew that arrives to nothing is $95.

  • Put items out by 9 AM, keep your phone on. Curbside pickups run 9 AM to 6 PM and you do not need to be home. White Glove needs someone 18 or older inside.

  • Once we load it, it is gone. Ownership transfers at pickup and items may be disposed of immediately. Empty the drawers and wipe your electronics first.

  • Damage gets reported within 72 hours. We are insured. Call or text us with photos and we deal with it.

1.Who we are

Alliance Curbside Junk Removal LLC (referred to in these terms as Alliance Curbside, we, us, or our) is a curbside junk removal service operating in Westchester County, New York and Fairfield County, Connecticut.

These Terms and Conditions (the Terms) govern your use of alliancecurbsidejunkremoval.com (the Site) and every pickup you book with us, whether you book online, by phone, by text message, or by email.

2.Your agreement to these terms

By using the Site, by booking a pickup, or by allowing us to collect items from your property, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to them, do not book a pickup and do not use the Site.

You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States to book with us. If you are booking on behalf of a company, an estate, a landlord, a tenant, or anyone other than yourself, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms on their behalf, and you in these Terms means both you and that party.

3.The service we provide

We collect furniture, mattresses, appliances, exercise equipment, electronics, and general household items from the curb, driveway, or other outside location at a property you control, and we haul them away for donation, recycling, or disposal.

  • Curbside is the default. You place your items outside before your pickup window and we load them. We do not enter your home, and you do not need to be present.
  • White Glove is an inside pickup. If you select White Glove, our crew comes inside and carries the items out for you. Someone 18 or older must be home to let the crew in, and we will call you in advance to agree on a time window rather than arriving inside the standard window.

Pickups are performed by our own crews and, at our discretion, by insured independent contractors we have screened and dispatched. Either way, the pickup is our job to deliver. We do not treat a subcontracted pickup as somebody else’s problem, and the terms below apply to it exactly as they apply to a pickup run by our own crew.

We are not a waste collection utility and we are not a moving company. We do not transport items you intend to keep, and we do not provide storage.

4.What you confirm when you book

Each time you book a pickup, you confirm all of the following.

  • You own the items you are asking us to remove, or you have the legal right to dispose of them. If the items belong to a tenant, an estate, a former occupant, or anyone else, you confirm you are authorized to have them hauled away and discarded.
  • You have the right to allow us onto the property, and the pickup does not violate a lease, an HOA rule, a municipal ordinance, or any other obligation you are subject to.
  • The information you give us is accurate, including the address, the item list, the item sizes, the number of pieces, stairs, and any access restriction.
  • The items do not contain anything on the list of things we cannot take, and they are not contaminated by mold, pests, bedbugs, rodents, sewage, or bodily fluids unless you told us in advance and we accepted the job anyway.
  • You are authorized to use the payment card you provide and you can pay the amount quoted.

If a pickup goes wrong because information you gave us was wrong or incomplete, any extra cost or damage that results is your responsibility, not ours.

5.Booking and confirmation

A booking is a request until we confirm it. We send a text confirmation to the mobile number you provide, usually within a couple of minutes. If you do not get a confirmation, the pickup is not scheduled, and you should call or text us at (914) 800-7143.

Same day and next day pickups depend on capacity on the day. Selecting a date online does not by itself guarantee that date. If we cannot cover the date you chose, we will contact you to reschedule, and you may cancel at no charge if the new date does not work for you.

We may decline or cancel a booking at any time before pickup, including for capacity, safety, distance, item type, or a suspected fraudulent order. If we cancel a booking and you have been charged, we refund you in full.

6.Pricing, discounts, and tax

We price per item, not by truck volume, and you see the total before you confirm. Current rates are shown on the pricing page and in the booking flow.

  • Minimum job. The minimum charge for any pickup is $165 before tax, regardless of how small the item is.
  • Multi item discounts apply automatically to the order subtotal before tax: 10 percent off 2 items, 15 percent off 3 items, and 20 percent off 4 or more items.
  • White Glove is an add on of $45 per item, capped at $90 per booking, and appears as its own line on your order.
  • Tax of 9 percent is applied to the discounted subtotal and shown before you confirm.

Prices can change at any time and rates are set at the moment you confirm. Once a booking is confirmed, we honor the price you were quoted unless the job on the day is not the job you described. If there are more items, larger items, stairs you did not mention, or items that require disassembly or equipment you did not disclose, we will tell you the revised price before doing the extra work, and you can approve it or decline it.

Items added on the day are charged at current rates and depend on the space left on the truck.

7.How and when we charge your card

Nothing is charged when you book. We save your card, place an authorization hold 24 hours before your pickup, and take payment only after the job is done.

By confirming a booking, you authorize us to do the following.

  • Store your card with our payment processor, Stripe, for this pickup. We never see or hold your full card number.
  • Place an authorization hold for the quoted total roughly 24 hours before your pickup date. A hold is not a charge, though your bank may show it as pending and it may reduce your available balance until it clears or is released.
  • Capture the final amount after the pickup is complete. If we haul less than quoted, you pay less. If you approved additional items or services on the day, we charge the approved amount, which may be higher than the original hold.
  • Charge applicable taxes, approved add ons, tips you ask us to add, and any fee described in the cancellation section below.

We keep your card on file for up to 90 days after your pickup so that adjustments, tips, and approved extras can be settled without asking you to re enter it. You can ask us to delete it sooner by emailing bookings@alliancecurbsidejunkremoval.com.

If a hold or a charge is declined, we may contact you for another payment method and may cancel the pickup if we cannot collect. You are responsible for any fee your bank charges you, and for our reasonable cost of collection on an unpaid balance.

If you believe we charged you incorrectly, contact us within 30 days of the charge so we can look at it. We would rather fix a billing error directly than have it come back as a chargeback weeks later.

8.Pickup windows and what we need from you

Unless we agreed on a specific window with you, curbside pickups happen between 9 AM and 6 PM on your scheduled date. Your items need to be out at the curb, the end of the driveway, or the agreed outside location by 9 AM on pickup day.

  • Arrival times are estimates. Traffic, weather, dump and transfer station queues, vehicle trouble, and earlier jobs running long all move a crew around.
  • Keep your phone available on pickup day. Our crew may call or text you from the property, and a job that cannot be resolved by a quick call is the most common reason a pickup gets missed.
  • For White Glove pickups, someone 18 or older must be present for the whole window and must be able to grant access to the items.
  • You are responsible for anything you leave outside. Items at the curb are exposed to weather, passers by, and municipal enforcement until we arrive. Do not put items out days early, and do not put anything outside that you still want.

If we cannot complete the pickup on the scheduled date for a reason on our side, we will reschedule it at no cost to you. Rescheduling is the remedy for a late or missed arrival.

9.Access, weight, and disassembly

Items must be safely reachable and safely removable by two people using ordinary hand tools and a truck. When you book, tell us about stairs, narrow doorways, tight turns, gates, elevators, parking restrictions, long carries, low clearance, unpaved ground, and anything unusually heavy.

  • We do not remove doors, windows, railings, or any part of a structure to get an item out, and we do not disassemble items that require significant demolition.
  • Light disassembly, such as taking the legs off a couch or breaking down a bed frame, may be available and may carry an extra charge. Ask before pickup day.
  • Extremely heavy items, including pianos, safes, hot tubs, and pool tables, are quoted individually and may need equipment or extra crew. Do not book those through the standard item list. Call or text us instead.
  • If an item cannot be removed without a real risk of damage to the item, the property, or the crew, we will not force it. We will tell you what we found and what the options are.

If you did not disclose an access issue or a disassembly requirement, we are not responsible for damage that results from removing the item, and additional charges may apply.

10.Rescheduling, cancellations, and fees

Because nothing is charged when you book, changing your plans early costs you nothing at all. The fees below exist only to cover a crew and a truck that were committed to your address and could not be sent anywhere else.

  • More than 24 hours before your pickup date. Cancel or reschedule for free. No hold has been placed and nothing is charged.
  • Within 24 hours of your pickup date. You can reschedule once at no charge. A cancellation inside 24 hours, or a second change inside 24 hours, carries a $45 late change fee.
  • Removing items on pickup day. Items dropped from the order on the day are charged at 50 percent of that item’s price. Swapping an item for one of equal or greater value carries no penalty.
  • Missed pickup. If the crew arrives in the window and the items are not out, the property is not accessible, or nobody is home for a White Glove pickup, and we cannot reach you to resolve it, a $95 missed pickup fee applies and the booking is closed. Rebooking is a new order at current prices.

To cancel or reschedule, call or text (914) 800-7143 or email bookings@alliancecurbsidejunkremoval.com. A change is effective when we confirm it, not when you send it. We do not charge a late change fee where the change is caused by something on our side, by severe weather, or by an emergency you tell us about.

11.Refunds and service issues

If something about your pickup was not right, tell us within 72 hours of the scheduled pickup window by calling or texting (914) 800-7143 or emailing bookings@alliancecurbsidejunkremoval.com. Include your name, the pickup address, the date, and photos where they help.

Where we got it wrong, we make it right, typically by returning to collect what was missed, by adjusting the charge, or by refunding it. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 7 business days, depending on your bank.

Amounts already captured are not refundable except as described in these Terms or as required by law. A late change fee or a missed pickup fee is not refundable once it is properly applied.

12.Items we cannot take

Some material is illegal or unsafe for us to transport, and transfer stations will refuse it. We cannot collect any of the following.

  • Hazardous chemicals, solvents, pesticides, motor oil, fuel, and wet paint
  • Asbestos, lead abatement waste, and biological or medical waste
  • Propane tanks that are not empty, and other pressurized cylinders
  • Car tires and automotive batteries
  • Ammunition, explosives, fireworks, and firearms
  • Radioactive material and anything requiring licensed hazardous waste handling
  • Human or animal remains, sewage, and contaminated waste

If you are not sure about something, text a photo to (914) 800-7143 before your pickup date and we will tell you straight away. If restricted material is mixed into a load without being disclosed, we may refuse the pickup, remove the material from the load, or charge you the actual cost of disposing of it correctly.

13.When we may refuse a pickup

We or the crew assigned to your job may refuse all or part of a pickup, on the day and at the property, in any of these situations.

  • Items are infested with pests or bedbugs, or are contaminated, and this was not disclosed
  • The item, the load, or the location is unsafe for the crew
  • Removing the item would require altering the structure of the building
  • Severe weather, unsafe road conditions, or an unsafe walking surface
  • The items are materially different from what was booked and you do not approve the revised price
  • We have reason to believe the items are not yours to dispose of
  • Anyone at the property is abusive or threatening toward the crew

Where we refuse a pickup because of something you did not disclose, the fees in the cancellation section may apply. Where we refuse for a reason on our side, you are not charged.

14.What happens to your items after pickup

Once we load an item, ownership of it passes to us and it may be donated, recycled, or disposed of immediately. We cannot get it back for you.

This is the part of these Terms worth reading twice. Title to every item we collect transfers to us at the moment of pickup, and you give up all rights to it. We are not able to retrieve, hold, or return an item after collection, even if you contact us the same day.

  • Check before you put it out. Remove cash, jewelry, documents, keys, medication, and anything else of value from furniture, drawers, pockets, and safes. We are not responsible for personal property left inside an item we collect.
  • Wipe your electronics. If you are handing us a computer, phone, tablet, TV, hard drive, or printer, erase it and sign out of your accounts first. We do not perform certified data destruction and we are not responsible for data left on a device.
  • Donation and recycling are our intent, not a guarantee. We donate what is in good condition to local charities and resellers and recycle what we can, but charities and facilities refuse items routinely for condition, contamination, or capacity reasons. We cannot promise a specific outcome for a specific item, we cannot provide a donation receipt or tax documentation, and we cannot guarantee that anything is diverted from landfill.

15.Property damage and claims

We carry general liability insurance and we operate licensed and insured in New York and Connecticut. If our crew damages your property while performing a pickup, we want to know about it and we will deal with it.

Report damage within 72 hours of the pickup by calling or texting (914) 800-7143 or emailing bookings@alliancecurbsidejunkremoval.com. Include the pickup address and date, a description of what happened, and clear photos of the damage. Reporting after 72 hours makes damage very difficult to attribute to a pickup, and claims submitted late may be denied on that basis alone.

We are not responsible for damage that was already there, for wear to surfaces that were already failing, for damage caused by an access restriction you did not disclose, for damage to items you asked us to move in a way we advised against, or for damage to the items being hauled away, which by then are no longer yours.

16.Weather, delays, and events outside our control

We are not liable for a delay or a failure to perform caused by something outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, snow and ice, flooding, road closures, fire, power or network outages, labor shortages, transfer station or landfill closures, civil unrest, government action, and public health emergencies.

When that happens we will reschedule your pickup for the next available date at no extra cost, or cancel it and release any hold on your card if you prefer.

17.Text messages, calls, and email

When you give us your phone number, you agree that we may call and text you about your pickup. That includes booking confirmations, scheduling, crew arrival updates, questions from the crew at your property, payment notices, and follow up after the job. These are service messages and they are part of how the pickup gets done, so they are not promotional and you cannot opt out of them while a booking is active.

We may also send occasional messages about offers or seasonal services. You can stop those at any time by replying STOP to any text, by clicking unsubscribe in an email, or by telling us at bookings@alliancecurbsidejunkremoval.com. We honor a stop request on the number or address it came from.

Some of our text conversations are handled by an automated assistant, with a person available whenever you ask for one. Calls may be recorded or transcribed for quality and training, and we will tell you at the start of a call where that applies. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Message frequency varies.

18.Privacy and your information

Our Privacy Policy is the full account of what we collect and what we do with it, and it forms part of these Terms. The summary below covers the essentials.

To run a pickup we collect your name, phone number, email address, service address, item list, access notes, and payment details. We use that information to schedule and complete the job, to take payment, to communicate with you, to support you afterwards, and to improve the service.

We share your information with the people who need it to do the work: the crew or insured contractor assigned to your pickup, our payment processor Stripe, our messaging and scheduling providers, and professional advisors. We do not sell your personal information.

Card details are handled by Stripe, a PCI compliant payment processor, and are stored with Stripe rather than by us. We apply reasonable security measures, though no system is perfectly secure.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing bookings@alliancecurbsidejunkremoval.com. We will honor those requests to the extent the law requires, keeping what we need for tax, accounting, insurance, and legal purposes.

19.Use of our website

We grant you a limited, revocable, non exclusive, non transferable license to use the Site for the purpose of learning about our services and booking a pickup. Everything on the Site, including text, photography, illustrations, layout, software, the Alliance Curbside Junk Removal name, and our logos, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law.

You agree not to do any of the following.

  • Copy, republish, sell, rent, or license any part of the Site
  • Scrape, harvest, or bulk download Site content, including our pricing and city pages
  • Reverse engineer, interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or our systems
  • Use the Site to place fraudulent bookings, to impersonate anyone, or for any unlawful purpose
  • Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice
  • Frame or mirror the Site, or use our marks in a way that suggests an affiliation we have not agreed to

We may suspend or withdraw access to the Site at any time, and we may change or remove content without notice. We aim to keep everything on the Site accurate, but pricing, availability, and service area information can be out of date or contain errors, and we reserve the right to correct them. Your remedy for an inaccuracy on the Site is to stop relying on it and to contact us for current information.

20.Your photos, reviews, and other content

If you send us photos of your items, leave a review, or submit any other content, you keep ownership of it and you grant us a worldwide, royalty free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and display it in connection with our business, including on the Site and in marketing, with attribution limited to a first name and town.

You confirm that you have the right to send us what you send, that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights, and that it does not contain anything unlawful. We may remove any content at our discretion. If you would rather we did not use a photo or a review, tell us at bookings@alliancecurbsidejunkremoval.com and we will take it down.

If you believe something on the Site infringes your copyright or trademark, email bookings@alliancecurbsidejunkremoval.com with a description of the work, the location of the material on the Site, your contact details, and a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized. We respond to valid notices promptly.

22.Disclaimers

Except where these Terms say otherwise and except for the commitments we make about the work we perform, the Site and the services are provided on an as is and as available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties that are not expressly stated here, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error free, or secure, that quoted arrival times will be met, that an item will be donated or recycled rather than disposed of, or that a third party facility will accept a given item.

Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

23.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or loss of business opportunity, arising out of or relating to the Site, a booking, or a pickup, even if we were told those damages were possible.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or a pickup is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the pickup that the claim relates to, or $500.

That cap does not apply to property damage or bodily injury caused by our own negligence during a pickup. Those claims are handled through our general liability insurance under the claims section above. Nor does it apply to anything that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including fraud and willful misconduct.

Any claim arising out of these Terms or a pickup must be brought within one year after the event that gave rise to it, or it is permanently barred.

24.Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Alliance Curbside Junk Removal LLC, its officers, employees, crews, and contractors from any claim, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms, information you gave us that was wrong or incomplete, items you did not have the right to dispose of, restricted material included in a load without disclosure, or your violation of any law or of anyone else’s rights.

25.No circumvention of our crews

While you are our customer and for one year afterwards, you agree not to solicit or engage a crew member or contractor you met through us to perform junk removal work directly for you outside of Alliance Curbside. Those people are dispatched, insured, and paid through us, and arranging work around us puts both of you outside that protection.

26.Dispute resolution and arbitration

Read this section carefully. It affects how disputes between us get resolved and it limits your right to go to court or to take part in a class action.

Talk to us first. Nearly everything gets solved with a phone call. Before starting any formal proceeding, contact us at bookings@alliancecurbsidejunkremoval.com with a description of the dispute and what you want, and give us 30 days to work it out with you.

Arbitration. If we cannot resolve it, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or a pickup will be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator, in Westchester County, New York, or by video or telephone if you prefer. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this section. The arbitrator’s award may be entered as a judgment in any court with jurisdiction.

Small claims. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies. That is usually the faster and cheaper route for a dispute about a single pickup, and we will not object to it.

You can opt out. You may reject this arbitration agreement by emailing bookings@alliancecurbsidejunkremoval.com within 30 days of your first booking with the words arbitration opt out, your name, and your service address. Opting out does not affect anything else in these Terms and it will not affect the service you get from us.

27.Class action waiver

Claims must be brought individually. You and we each waive any right to bring or take part in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action, in arbitration or in court. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of class proceeding. If this waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim, and only that claim, proceeds in court rather than in arbitration.

28.Jury trial waiver

To the extent a dispute proceeds in court rather than in arbitration, you and we each knowingly and voluntarily waive any right to a trial by jury, regardless of the legal theory involved.

29.Governing law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Where a dispute is not subject to arbitration, the state and federal courts located in Westchester County, New York have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to that venue. Nothing here removes a protection that Connecticut consumer law gives you for a pickup performed in Connecticut.

30.Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force for your pickup is the one published when you confirmed the booking. Changes take effect when posted, and the effective date at the top of this page tells you when we last revised them. Continuing to use the Site or booking another pickup after a change means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Site.

31.General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the order confirmation for your pickup, are the whole agreement between us and replace anything said or written before. If a written quote or a signed commercial agreement conflicts with these Terms, that document controls for that job.
  • Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, it is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest stays in force.
  • No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision on one occasion, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a sale of the business.
  • Survival. Sections covering payment, items collected, claims, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and governing law survive the end of your relationship with us.
  • Headings. Section headings are for convenience and do not affect interpretation.
