Privacy Policy

What we collect when you book a pickup, who we give it to, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.

Effective September 11, 2026

The short version

A plain summary of how we handle your information. The full policy below is the complete version.

  • We collect what it takes to run the job. Your name, number, email, address, item list, and access notes. Not much else, and never more than we asked for.

  • We do not sell your information. No selling, no renting, no sharing for anyone else's advertising. No ad pixels passing your details to a network.

  • Your card lives with Stripe, not with us. We never see the full number. We can see the last four digits and whether a charge went through.

  • An unfinished booking still leaves us your details. If you get to the payment step and leave, we keep what you entered and may text you once. Ask us and it is deleted.

  • Empty the drawers and wipe your electronics. We do not search what we collect, but once an item is loaded it is gone, and anything inside it goes too.

1.Who we are and what this covers

Alliance Curbside Junk Removal LLC (Alliance Curbside, we, us, or our) runs curbside junk removal in Westchester County, New York and Fairfield County, Connecticut. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we give it to, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

It covers alliancecurbsidejunkremoval.com, our booking flow, and the phone, text, and email conversations we have with you about a pickup. It works alongside our Terms and Conditions.

We are a small local operator, not an advertising business. We collect what we need to get a truck to your address and get you paid up correctly, and not much else.

2.Information you give us

Most of what we hold is what you typed into the booking form or told us on the phone.

  • Contact details. First and last name, mobile number, and email address.
  • Service address. Street address, city, state, and ZIP code of the property we are collecting from.
  • Job details. The items on your order, quantities, pickup date, whether you chose White Glove, and any access notes you add, such as a gate code, a buzzer, or where on the property the items are sitting.
  • Photos and messages. Any photo you text us to get an item quoted, and the content of your texts, emails, and calls with us.
  • Payment details. Card information, which goes directly to Stripe. See payment information below.
  • Anything else you choose to send, including a review, a complaint, a damage claim, or a promo code.

Please do not send us more than we asked for. We do not need a photo of your ID, a bank statement, medical information, or a document with a Social Security number on it to haul a couch away. If you send something sensitive we did not ask for, we delete it.

3.Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, some information is collected by the systems that serve and measure it.

  • Technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, and the pages you viewed, logged by our website host and used for security and performance.
  • Analytics data from Google Analytics 4, where it is enabled, covering which pages and cities get traffic and which ones lead to a booking. It is configured for measurement, not advertising.
  • Address suggestions. As you type an address into the booking form, the characters you type are sent to Google Maps Places to return suggestions. That is how the autocomplete works.
  • Fraud signals collected by Stripe on the payment step, which Stripe uses to tell a real card from a stolen one.

4.Information from other sources

If you reach us through a directory, a review platform, a referral partner, an ad, or Google Business Profile, that source may pass us your name, number, and a description of the job. We may also receive a confirmation from our payment processor that a card succeeded or failed. We treat information from those sources the same way we treat information you give us directly.

5.How we use your information

We use what we collect to do the following, and for nothing beyond it.

  • Schedule your pickup, route a crew to your address, and complete the job
  • Confirm your booking and keep you updated by text, email, and phone
  • Hold and charge your card for the amount you agreed to, and issue refunds
  • Answer questions, handle complaints, and process damage claims
  • Follow up on a booking you started but did not finish, as described below
  • Ask for a review after a job, which you can decline
  • Keep records for tax, accounting, insurance, and legal purposes
  • Understand which pages and towns bring in work, so we know where to focus
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unsafe situations for our crews

We do not run automated decisions that produce legal effects about you, and we do not build advertising profiles.

6.Bookings you start but do not finish

Worth knowing: if you fill in your details and then leave before paying, we keep what you entered and we may follow up.

Our booking form saves your name, phone number, email, address, item list, and quoted total at the moment you move from the details step to the payment step. That happens before any payment is taken, so an unfinished booking still leaves us with your details.

We use that to follow up, usually with one text and sometimes an email, asking whether you still want the pickup and offering a link back to where you left off. If you book, or if you reply asking us to stop, the follow up stops immediately. We do not sell these details, and we do not pass them to anyone else.

You can have an unfinished booking deleted at any time by texting (914) 800-7143 or emailing bookings@alliancecurbsidejunkremoval.com.

7.Text messages, calls, and recordings

Our phone line at (914) 800-7143 handles both calls and texts, and conversations on it are stored by our phone provider so that whoever picks up next can see the history.

  • Service messages about a live booking, including confirmations, arrival updates, crew questions, and payment notices, are part of the job and continue while the booking is active.
  • Marketing messages about offers or seasonal services stop whenever you want. Reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in an email, or tell us at bookings@alliancecurbsidejunkremoval.com.
  • Automated replies. Some texts are answered by an automated assistant, with a person available whenever you ask for one. Those messages are stored the same way a human reply would be.
  • Call recording. Calls may be recorded or transcribed for quality and training. We tell you at the start of a call where that applies. New York and Connecticut have different consent rules for recording, and we follow the stricter one.

Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Message frequency varies.

8.Who we share your information with

We share your information with the people and services that are needed to run the job. Each one gets only what it needs, and each is bound to use it only for the work we hired it for.

  • The crew assigned to your pickup, whether our own or an insured independent contractor we dispatched. They get your name, address, phone number, item list, and access notes. They do not get your payment details.
  • Stripe, our payment processor, for card processing, holds, charges, and refunds.
  • Our scheduling and record systems, where your booking is stored and where a new job alert reaches the owner.
  • Our phone and messaging provider, which carries our calls and text messages.
  • Our email delivery provider, which sends your booking confirmation.
  • Our website host, and Google Analytics, which run and measure the site.
  • Professional advisors and insurers, where a claim, an audit, or a legal matter requires it.
  • Law enforcement or a regulator, where we are legally required to respond, or where we believe in good faith that someone is at risk of harm.
  • A buyer of the business, if we are ever sold or merged, in which case this policy continues to apply until you are told otherwise.

9.We do not sell your information

We do not sell your personal information, we do not rent it, and we do not share it for anyone else’s targeted advertising. We do not run advertising pixels that pass your details to an ad network. If that ever changes, we will say so on this page and give you a way to opt out before it takes effect.

10.Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary to make the site and the payment step work, and cannot be turned off without breaking the booking form. Others are analytics cookies set by Google Analytics, which tell us how many people visited a page and whether they booked.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop the booking form from working. You can also install the Google Analytics opt out add on from Google to stop analytics collection across every site that uses it.

Because we do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising, there is no Do Not Sell link to give you. We honor a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser to the extent it applies to anything we do.

11.Payment information

Your card details go from your browser to Stripe, a PCI compliant payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. What we can see is the last four digits, the card brand, the expiry, and whether a charge succeeded.

Because we charge after the job rather than at booking, Stripe keeps your card on file for your pickup so the hold and the final charge can go through. We keep it available for up to 90 days after your pickup to settle adjustments, approved extras, and tips, then it is no longer used. You can ask us to remove it sooner at bookings@alliancecurbsidejunkremoval.com and we will, provided your balance is settled.

Stripe handles your payment data under its own privacy policy as an independent controller.

12.Information inside the items we collect

This is the one most people forget. Furniture and electronics arrive full of personal information, and once we load an item it is gone.

Before your pickup, empty drawers, pockets, filing cabinets, and safes, and take out documents, mail, cash, keys, medication, and anything else personal. If you are giving us a computer, phone, tablet, TV, hard drive, or printer, erase it and sign out of your accounts first.

We do not search the items we collect, we do not read documents left in them, and we do not extract data from devices. We also do not perform certified data destruction, and we cannot retrieve an item once it is loaded. Anything left inside an item goes wherever the item goes. See section 14 of the Terms and Conditions.

13.How long we keep it

  • Booking and customer records are kept for 7 years, which is what tax, accounting, and insurance obligations require.
  • Unfinished bookings that never convert are kept for 12 months, then deleted.
  • Text and call history stays in our phone system for as long as the account is active, so that we have the context of past conversations with you.
  • Photos you text us are kept only as long as they are useful for quoting or for a claim, and are deleted on request.
  • Analytics data is retained on Google’s default schedule for the property.

When a retention period ends, we delete the information or strip it of anything that identifies you.

14.How we protect it

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, consistent with the New York SHIELD Act. The site runs over HTTPS, payment data is handled by Stripe rather than by us, access to booking records is limited to the people who need it, and our internal systems are protected by authenticated accounts.

No system is perfectly secure and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

15.Your choices and your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights over your personal information. Connecticut residents have them under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act. Rather than sort customers by state, we honor the requests below for everyone who asks, whether or not a law compels us to.

  • Know and access. Ask what we hold about you and get a copy of it.
  • Correct. Fix anything that is wrong, such as a misspelled address.
  • Delete. Ask us to erase your information. We honor this except where we must keep a record for tax, accounting, insurance, or legal reasons, in which case we tell you what we kept and why.
  • Port. Get your information in a portable format.
  • Opt out. Stop marketing texts and emails at any time, without affecting the service you get.

Email bookings@alliancecurbsidejunkremoval.com or call or text (914) 800-7143 to make a request. We will verify who you are before acting, usually by confirming details of a past booking, and we respond within 45 days. We never charge for a request and we never treat you differently for making one.

If you think we got a request wrong, tell us first at bookings@alliancecurbsidejunkremoval.com so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to your state Attorney General.

16.Children

Our service is for adults. You must be 18 or older to book a pickup, and the site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact bookings@alliancecurbsidejunkremoval.com and we will delete it.

17.Where your information is processed

We operate in the United States and our service providers process information in the United States. We do not offer service outside the United States. If you contact us from elsewhere, understand that your information will be handled under United States law.

18.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business changes, for instance if we add a new provider or a new way of contacting customers. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when it was last revised. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will make that clear rather than quietly editing the page.
